    AWB support at all-time low

Public Support for "Assault Weapon" Ban Hits All-Time Low

The fewest Americans in 20 years favor making it illegal to manufacture, sell or possess semi-automatic guns known as assault rifles. Thirty-six percent now want an assault weapons ban, down from 44% in 2012 and 57% when Gallup first asked the question in 1996....

See...people are not stupid....they see through the media and dems claims about the BS they sprout. NOBODY but a DEM/LIB and ANTI GUN person thinks that a pistol grip or folding/adjustable stock makes a firearm more lethal.

And more and more people are realizing that ole dads deer rifle is a far more powerful firearm than the classic AR15.

But non the less, they will continue to call them what the are not and try to ban them because they know that people of this country are going to revolt if the LIBS and DEM continue down this road of globalism and free rides for the useless paid for by the working, as well as borrowing until we are bankrupt.

It doesn't matter what the "Public" wants or thinks. The Government will impose on us what IT wants. We are Subjects under the all mighty Queen and King.

Good to hear more people are seeing through the barrage of lies. Now to keep Clinton out so it will matter.

It is good to know that many people think an AWB is useless. However, that won't stop the liberal media from trying to push this because it is what 'they' think is best. They will continue to report the exact opposite; and come up with their own poll (by asking 5 co-workers in their office) that shows they are right. Unfortunately, there are many people who don't think on their own; they only think what CNN and other lib news agencies tell them to think.

I won't disagree, but it also seems to mostly be a feature of an older generation. Baby-boomers on average seems to question media and authority a whole lot less than those who grew up with the Internet.

I think this is the root of why the polls are moving in another direction on these subjects, and why young women are buying guns like never before.

I'm a baby boomer and I believe very little with what is on the internet. Do you believe everything you read on the internet? If the younger generation (GEN-X's and Millennials) believe what they read on the internet, then whoever said this might be right:

I fear the day that technology will surpass our human interaction. The world will have a generation of idiots.

This is not an Einstein statement as portrayed on the internet. It has been thoroughly debunked.

Hence the emphasis on "on average"

This is completely anecdotal, but of the people in my life, the generation who were 20 or younger when the Internet became common do a lot more investigation into claims. Whether it's a claim of the media, celebrities, or their doctor.

It's possible this is a short-lived effect only for those who were young enough to embrace this new source of information as it came aroud, and that people who were born after this technology entered the scene won't question information in the same way.

Hopefully the Queen could/should end up like Anne Boleyn or Marie Antoinette.
