It will be interesting to see what spins off from this.
Also, this helps make a case for the Hearing Protection Bills that are in congress now.

This was my thought as well. It will help de-villianize suppressors in the minds of the the populace.

This is true, but I also see this as an anti-argument that suppressors are designed and should only be used for military use. Either way I hope Trump signs the hearing protection act soon. The only major downside is that it will mean shortages, and I won't be the only cool kid at the range.

Good news all the way around. Hoping cans become cheap, easier to buy/own, and mainstream!! Think about the business and the evolving gun community!! Guns become cool again, threaded barrels and accessories become more readily available as well as cheaper!! This may even influence other Nfa items and availability!!! This could also brin in more shooters and make shooting hip to the hipsters!! Our sport and passion needs youth and increased ownership to become mainstream as it was in the 50,s so anything to restrict it become much harder to enact!!

It's ironic that in the U.K., where hellish restrictions are put upon the Queen's 'subjects' concerning firearms, the use of suppressors is actually encouraged.

The 2nd Amendment has never been about hunting, or target shooting. And those who want to abolish it are well-aware of this fact.

I am surprised that the military hasn't widely used suppressors sooner.
