I'm not tacti-cool I'm just tacky.
I thought the whole paper was bullcrap after I read a slingshot could get you an appearance before the judge. What will our masters think of next?
Dum-Dum? Who the hell uses that that term since 1945?
Here's the trouble:
"(b) after testing, the Attorney General determines poses a threat to the safety and well being of law enforcement officers because of the materials, be they metallic or nonmetallic"
Hmm. SO basically the 'ATTORNEY GENERAL' can arbitrarily determine after an incident that according to THEM, the bullet is AP because it poses a threat. And what is up with a slingshot being a class 4 felony? Truly a wierd little state I have absolutely no desire to visit let alone live in. Sad thing is, statutes like this are spreading like a disease.

the bill prohibits the possession of any ammunition which the Attorney General, after testing, determines to be a threat to the law enforcement community because its design, composition, construction or formulation makes it capable of breaching or penetrating body armor by a person other than a law enforcement officer, member of the armed forces or licensed dealers who sell them to the military or law enforcement agencies.
Sounds like any ammunition that I have for any rifle in my safe.
This is how this crap get started. A bill is introduced to apply to a specific item but it is then worded to include all items in the catagory. This is a bill that will ban ALL BULLETS at the AGs discretion.
A pure democracy operates by direct majority vote of the people. When an issue is to be decided, the entire population votes on it; the majority wins and rules. A republic differs in that the general population elects representatives who then pass laws to govern the nation.
Funny thing is most New Jerseyians love their guns, but love their Unions more....Hence their votes go to the Democrats.
