    Excel Arms 5.7x28 target carbine.

    I have in my possession an Excel Arms model MR-5.7

    Specs:

    Model number: MR-5.7 (basic)
    Ammunition: 5.7x28mm
    Weight Empty: 8 Lbs.
    Overall Length: 32-1/2"
    Overall Height: 7"
    Front Sights: No Sights
    Rear Sights: No Sights
    Barrel Length: 18"
    Operation: Blow-Back Semi-Automatic
    Capacity: 9 Rounds


    I'll get it out this weekend and do some shooting and let you guys know how it does.

    At 8lbs, I'd pass. In fact, IMO, all their weapons are ugly. But I'm glad someone is doing something with the caliber.

    Now who's got the stones to make a real concealed carry version with some looks to it?

    Don't see much value there with the weight and low capacity. The current FN designs really take full advantage of the cartridge IMO and will be pretty tough to top. If I'm going to tote around a full size rifle, it's going to be in a different caliber. such as .308 or 6.8 spc.
