I had heard from my local gun dealer that Savage was having problems with accuracy. One of my friends had one on order, but that was this past spring. Sooo.. maybe they went back to the drawing board or scrapped the project.

I think right now the only other firearms chambered in 5.7x28mm besides FN are:

    *AR57
*ST Kinetics CPW can be configured to 5.7x28mm by changing the barrel & mag groups (just saw this on Wikipedia and know nothing about it. May not be around anymore, not sure)
*Excel Arms has 2 handguns and 2 rifles
*I know a guy that has a Thompson Contender chambered in 5.7x28mm. I don't know if T/C made the barrel or someone else.

Also, the other day I was goofing around checking out different full auto's and somewhere saw a firearm called an XMX 18 or Skyline 18. Chambered in 5.7x28mm and suppose to be jam proof?? Man I can't even find it doing a search now, but I wrote it down on my notebook by my computer because I thought it was cool. Maybe I was on a Playstation 3 website

There might be a TC encore barrel.
