That is possibly some substantial deviations in the flight paths. Where were you standing while firing. Were you directly in fron of the car, off to the right side?

i was a bit off to the side. i was trying to have the bullet hit glass everytime. not far off to the side....still in front of it....enough to get hit if it was a moving car....

So based on your location and the curvature of the windshield, would you say that the impact point was a straight on shot or angled on the horizontal (L/R) plane?

they were all about the same angle. i moved left to right so i was not shooting the same hole.....but not far....i would say all the angles for all the shots were pretty similar. i held the pistol in the same way everytime. same height.the angle of the windshield was constant.

the results seem to be that he bullet passes through the windshield and most impacted slightly lower than my control shot. even the 45 hit the target lower than my control shots. the ss197 was the 5.7 bullet that had the least amount of deflection. the 45 all hit low but they were in a much better group than the 5.7 rounds.

    cheers

I remember reading somewhere, some time ago, that when shooting through windshields to aim a bit higher, doesn't matter, rifle or handgun.

    Your video's prove that.

if you think about it, it makes sense. Bullet will want to take the easiest path through it and with it sloping away, going down some will get the bullet through the glass faster.
