You also have to take into account that at $17 a box of 50 or .34 cents a round is comparable to 223 $7 box of 20 or .35 a round. The 5.7 is high quality ammo, so you need to compare apples to apples. You would be within a penny or two of .45, .05 to .07 for 40cal of the same quality. Umarex is not something I would put in any of my guns, not even my Glocks. The crap hits the target sideways

So yes it may seem higher, but you have to take into account that it is high quality ammo, not wolf ammo or reloaded crap. Take advantage when it is on sale and buy in bulk. I have picked it up on here for as low as $13 a box shipped, just keep your eyes on the classified
