NEW: Sellier & Bellot 5.7x28 ammo!

GREAT NEWS! Looks like there is a new 5.7 ammo player in the game.

New CBC Ammo - The Firearm Blog

I have been using their new 300BLK 124gr Supersonic ammo. It is $9.99 for a box of 20 and it is great range ammo! Much cheaper than anything else out there in Supersonic 300BLK. It hits to virtually the same POI as my defensive load, the Barnes 110gr Vortex, and my usual target load the Remington UMC 120gr. I shot a few hundred rounds of the S&B 300BLK 124gr this weekend, and was very happy!

Can't wait to try thier new 5.7 ammo! I'm sure it will be very reasonably priced as well.

Great news. I wish one was a high speed round.

Sounds like one might be a sub round.

I wonder how it will be priced. Maybe I can convince them to send me a box for testing
Although at one time Wolf was going to make it too, so I won't hold my breath until it hits the streets.

An important question would be, who's brass are they using? I'm assuming probably FN.

The 40 gr. FMJ round made from pulled AE rounds, or is there another bullet coming on to the market? Somebody is making that bullet for the AE rounds, but have not been able to find anything that has not been pulled. If I get a rainy weekend I am going to pull down a box of AE and reload with my powder to see what can be done with that bullet. 2500 fps out of a PS90 should be doable.

That is good news! S&B has always been my favorite ammo, never a prob!

Here lies Lester Moore. Four slugs from a .44. No Les. No More.

A factory sub offering would be superb assuming cost is not ridiculous

    SB is GTG.

More players in the space is ultimately good for us.

I HOPE Fiocchi isn't manufacturing this for the S&B label.

My instincts tell me it is not going to be. I'm thinking there is a huge amount of 55gr bullets out there because of 223/5.56. That means these bullets are very cheap. This is probably a way to offer an inexpensive full power plinking round in 5.7. Of course I could be completely wrong. We will see.
