    That was strange. I have never seen a guest able to post on here. Apparently the settings were laxed. I fixed them.

    That is why Utah changed their rules so that you have to get your own states ccw before getting their non-resident.

    I doubt national reciprocity will happen anytime soon, but would be nice. First off Illinois needs to get off their bums and just do what every other state has done. It's been over 5 months since HB 148 was introduced...how long does it take?

    I just registered for a utah ccw class at the local vfw so i could have a permit that was valid all around maryland and in SC where I grew up...

    One major change in the new law is regarding some non-resident applicants
    for the Utah concealed firearm permit. If a non-resident applicant is from a
    state that either has a formal reciprocity agreement with Utah or recognizes
    the Utah concealed firearm permit, the applicant must hold and provide proof
    of a current concealed firearm or concealed weapon permit issued by the
    applicant’s state of residency upon application for the Utah concealed firearm
    permit.
