Store guns (if there is one in the pipe) facing in safe directions. They can and will shoot the round if they get hot enough.

They pulled a car out of the river that someone had set on fire... before going into the river... and there was a gun in the trunk, the grip was exploded, but there was a bullet hole that went through the seats, dash, and somewhere into the engine compartment.)[/u]
