While I have not shot the 16" PBR I have shot the 20" version. What specifically are you looking to know? They are all very accurate rifles right out of the box. The only thing the turned me off from the 16 and 18 inch PBR's was that they were only available with the post-64 pushfeed action and I prefer the pre-64 controlled round feed action.

Here is a picture of the gun. It was actually one of the barreled actions from CDNN that I got off Gunbroker recently. McMillan had some nice tactical stocks on special that were inletted for the PBR and it turned out quite nice. I just need to add a nice scope and maybe a CDI DBM.

I have a 16" PBR w/ muzzle brake. I just got back from the range for the first shots from this rifle. I only had time to go to the indoor range to semi-zero my scope and just to shoot the gun. I can't wait to stretch it's legs out (as much stretching as a 16" barrel can do). I am very happy so far. I was putting hole touching hole (there again 25 yds). I am not sure about the 18 and 16's being push feed as mine appears to be a control round feed action. And without the muzzle brake-I don't know.

    Control round push feed

So after a little research I found that the 16" PBR action has what known as Controlled Round Push Feed (CRPF). Go figure.

Sorry. That didn't work. Try CDNN. They may still have them. Free shipping on FN rifles. Great rifle without having to settle for the trite Rem 700.
I'm shooting .5MOA and should get better with practice. I'm sub MOA at 200 yds in the wind. Don't hesitate!
