FN TSR XP 10 round Magazine

I called and emailed FN to ask if they made a 10 round magazine for the TSR XP 308 Caliber. I have not heard back from them so I did a little research on the net. Looks like cheaper than dirt has a 10 round magazine and it says it fits the TSR, SPR, PBR. I also called cheaper than dirt and they were not sure since the mag comes directly from FNH. Also a guy on the review said it doesn't fit his FN TSR FLP but i have the DBM so I am going to try it out and see if it fits my rifle and if it doesn't I will return it. I'll let you guys know.

It does not fit. The TSR/PBR/SPR 4rd boxes do not interchange with the 10 rd box.

The difference is in how the box connects to the floor plate. You will have to replace the whole bottom metal assembly for the TBM system. Not yet available. Some fitting will be required. Only gun right now is the A5M TBM with it.

FN finally got back to me with the details. Looks like the the bottom metal piece is available on LE rifles on at the moment but will be available for consumers in Mid 2012. As to it really being available in mid 2012 we will just have to wait and see.

The 10 rd box requires a special bottom metal and is only available on LE models at this time. Please look for these parts to be available in mid 2012 for consumers.
