This is my only FN...but it's a Keeper!

A Deluxe Sporter in 30.06 I am guessing it was manufactured in the 50's

    Decaff thanked this.

Figured I better eventually sign up here so I can exchange hand-load data and ideas. Here is my FN SPR A3g. The scope is a Schmidt & Bender PM-II 3-12 MTC with a GEN 2 Mil Dot.

Took my SPRa1 out to stretch her legs today.
Was shooting just under a 2" at 300m today, using 168gr Black Hills Match
With a friend, a well trained Marine, behind the trigger, it will hold to .625 MOA

7x57mm Sporter, the buttplate is made of bone. I don't know really anything else about it other than it has no import markings. A retired gunsmith I know told me it was probablly made in the 30's or late 40's after the war.
