    Favorite FN FAL

With the exceptions of the "G/GL series", which is your favorite FN FAL and why?

    1. 50.00
    2. 50.41
    3. 50.42
    4. 50.63
    5. 50.64

For me, I would say the 50.42 as I love LMG's and looks closest to military.

For some reason the Israeli heavy barrels get me going...

Unfortunately, I can't afford one, so my favorite is my well running Century... hey, at least it is mine!

I never could choose just one....

But if I just had to choose one variation, it would be the venerable G1..

I like the G1 my self. Of course I had the first kits in the country and still have not built them up.

Oh the good days of $99 south africa kits. My best G1 kit was one of the like new refinished kits from DSA.

Thanks guys! I'm pretty happy with the FAL collection so far. I have 8 more kits and receivers yet to build, just no time right now. The next build party is 3 Para's, 2 Izzy LB's, and some assorted carbines. Glad I got the kits while I could still aford them!!

Yumm. Not a lot of those Australian HBAR kits around.

I prefer the standard 50.00 but it's the 50.63 people always want to look at when the safe door is open.

L1A1, The commonwealth countries seemed to have thought out the design a little more.

More than 24 hour with out FNH contact may lead to irritability.
