If you have holo mount from truehuntersupply, . . . review.

If you have one of those holographic site mounts from truehuntersupply, preferably the Burris, can you give your review of the mount and how well the Burris holds up, and holds zero under the slide action of the five seven pistol? I would appreciate it. I am considering getting one, but want to make sure I cross all the t's and dot the i's first. Thanks!

I'll chime in - I went with the Nikko vs the Burris - supposedly a tad smaller. I already had purchased the mount that fits the Burris from Robert @ True Hunter supply. We swapped out mounts and I'm very pleased - I used blue/medium thread lock on the hex head bolts that mount the sight to the plate. With sighting in the optic and then some general shooting - about 50rds - no problems.

does this mount replace the factory adj sight base? or do you have to custom fit it?

You only remove the adjustable sights you do not remove the original base. Its a very simple 5 min project.
