New FN Five-seveN Accessory Idea (maybe)

New to the forum...very interesting and informative site!

I've seen videos of a removable stock extension for a Glock pistol, basically turning it into a very short 'rifle'.

Given the effective and max ranges of FN Five-seveN, I would think having a removable stock extension would add a new dimension to this weapon's capabilities as well as providing a good stability platform when needed.

In that a PS90 costs more than I can afford, has anyone heard of such an extension for the FN Five-seveN? Would it be hard to have custom-made without adversely affecting the pistol?

Adding a stock to a pistol will make it a SBR, and subject to a $200 tax stamp and approval prior to adding the stock.

Jay from Elite Ammo has had an 8" barrel for the Five-Seven in the works for awhile now. Suppose to have compensators also sometime. I know he has new slide covers done. I'm gonna grab one of the threaded 8 incher's to try out. I'm just wondering what I'm going to do to make it look ok with it on there lol. 3.2 more inches should add a little velocity and boost the muzzle energy a bit, especially with some of his S4 UltraRaptor.

I'm surprised no body makes a stock that attached to a pistol's 'dust cover' rail.
I've thought you could start with a ten round extension and connect the stock to that, maybe.
Otherwise it's probably going to have to be attached through the two rear pin holes. Those pins are secretly held captive by a little spring underneath, BTW.

A 5.7 is like $300 LESS than a PS90... Not exactly alot more in the $ department.. Can't imagine a stock apparatus would be less than that, plus the SBR paperwork.
