I know about Viridian but was wondering if any members have experience with new alternative mfgrs for compact, rail attached, green lasers w/o light that are more competitive price wise. Just find the Viridian cost to be excessive.

You can get a custom Kydex holster for a USG with the Viridian C5L from Elite Ammunition. Here's a pic. They used my C5L to make the template:
