You should be OK in that the pressure of the .223/5.56 is about 55KPSI and the pressure of the 5.7x28 runs between 37KPSI and 55KPSI depending on the round and round manufacture used.

As a rule of thumb though, just because you can screw your can onto another firearm, doesn't mean that it is a safe thing to do. There are variables that have to be weighed carefully but in this case, you should be OK. Always check with the can manufacture to make sure that their product will perform in its new/dual use application.

HOWEVER, the can weight comes in at 19 ounces which is way more than the FiveseveN can handle and still cycle properly. The recommended can weight for a FiveseveN is less than 9 ounces for reliable cycling....

No Mensa meeting tonight, HK SD9 Tactical? :D

Seriously, that is something that would be overlooked by many people. Myself included but not with this caliber/can combo. Good heads up!
She remembered how 'I managed to get him on one occasion, when I was depressed by the news of one German victory after another and the resultant intolerable arrogance and gloating of the people of Berlin. "What will happen, Herr Professor?", I asked anxiously. Einstein looked at me, raised his fist, and replied: "This will govern!" '

money wise i'm better off to have tt thread my new iom barrel and sell me the adapter too, both for 220.00 versus 345.00 for a new barrel from the other and 34.95 for an adapter there. anyone had them thread for them and hows the turnaround time? there work looks great.

They stay very busy and you are probably looking at least a three month wait after they get the barrel.

I like keeping the factory barrel stock.

Yes, and having a threaded second barrel would up the value.

If you're going to run a M4-1000 on it you're going to have a single shot pistol no matter which barrel you use.
