Don't mess with the rear pin it's the second from the rear.
The 2nd from the rear, the one that holds the firing mechanism in place. I even tried lifting up on the slide release, I am gonna go try with a little more force...

I tried that as well, what I am noticing is that the frame is flexing when I apply too much pressure. I have tried using a punch to get it out and pushing it out. My guess is that it is a press fit from the factory. I even lubed the pin inside around the parts and frame, but still nothing....

It should come out with very little force.

This pin is in tight I can not for the life of me get it out, I can get it to move back and forth about 1/16 of an inch but that is it...

I'd prefer method 2 though, I dont like having the bar up so close to the trigger mechanism.

I just tried it again with the punch in a vise and the pin will compress and go into the frame but as soon as I release pressure it literally springs back into position. I can't figure it out. its like it is a part of the frame...

Its not like this is rocket science...I just don't want to destroy the frame...so have stopped

Now by doing the method #1 does the tip of that arm touching the arm connected to the trigger add any excess drag or roughness on the trigger pull? or does it just look like its touching it?
