I'm looking at getting a Five-Seven, I have a 9 and 45 but the 5-7 seems quite a bit different and was wondering if anyone knows about any torture tests it has been though. It feels alot more plastic then say my FNP 45. Any info would be great thanks.

The pistol has been around for about 13 years and works great. Now if you want to spend about a grand for a pistol and try and trash it please let us know the results.![]()
I'd have to say the one truthful thing RH said was that he had over 20,000 rounds through his FSN..
He told me he put over 40,000 rounds of his loads through the pistol.
Actually jhs27275 I will do my own. From everything I've read it sounds like it's a extremely effective weapon and I want to know how well these are made. So tomorrow I will pick up a brand new Five seveN and take it to the range. I'll put 200 rounds through it... then start the test. I'm thinking mud, water, run it over, drop it from my roof, maybe throw it out of a plane, and then bury it for a week or two and see if it still shoots and how well. I will keep the forum updated and take lots of video.

well then I will know that my glock was a better made weapon... The last thing I want is to take a weapon into combat and it fail when I need it most. So it will be worth every penny plus it's a lot of fun!

The pistol won't fail you in combat.Originally Posted by StrikeHold504th

As for Glock being better I would not know, I don't and won't own a Glock.![]()
I have used a FsN as a duty weapon a lot of years and never had a malfunction of any kind.
I don't know why you'd drive over any polymer framed pistol.
Planning on at least having a mag in it if you do do it?![]()

I was kidding about throwing it out of a plane but I would like to know exactly how much abuse the weapon can take. I've used a Bretta, Glock and FN 45 in combat and know their limits. Before I take the Five Seven over seas with me I would just like to be 100 percent sure that it will take any and all weather conditions and abuse I will be putting it through. Honestly I will put it in water, mud, sand, etc and thats about it.
