Just got the Five seven and found out I could have got fixed combat sights. Can the adjustable sights be replaced with fixed combat sights for concealed carry?
Thanks
A pure democracy operates by direct majority vote of the people. When an issue is to be decided, the entire population votes on it; the majority wins and rules. A republic differs in that the general population elects representatives who then pass laws to govern the nation.
Unless you plan on only shooting hi speed rounds I would suggest you stick with the adjustable sights.![]()
Damn, I should have done more research before I purchased the weapon. thanks
You're welcome.
I believe a few custom shops do it but it costs nearly $400. Can't see the value in that. As jhs said, you'd be better off working with what you've got or selling your gun and starting over.
Take it to someone who knows how to zero the sights, and then don't touch them. They will be just as good as fixed sights with the adjustable sight value.

Just sight it in for the round you'll shoot the most.
It's not that hard to convert to fixed sights, but it's not cheap either. You'd need a new fixed sight slide cover and the actual fixed sights you wanted to use. If you can't do the work, you'd also have to pay a gunsmith fee to have them installed.
