Ok boys and girls we've hit a minor speed bump. With the scanner I have I would have to basically destroy the manual to scan it and considering I have been waiting for this manual since 2004 and it's brand new I don't want to do that. I'm going to take it to a local shop and see if they have a way to do it with out the total destruction of the book.

You are doing a big service for the community, jhs. I don't think, however, that you should have to finance an effort that benefits others. I'll contribute $10 - $20 towards the effort. I would hope that others would join me in pledging some cash to underwrite this effort. How about it guys? Want to invest in a 5-7 manual? Jhs...if this makes your side of it a bit more appealing, I suggest you go ahead an investigate the costs but defer the actual job until you get enough pledges to cover your costs.

Coincidentally, and hence my interest, I just returned home from my FFL with a new FN Five-seveN, matte black with adjustable sights.
