A pure democracy operates by direct majority vote of the people. When an issue is to be decided, the entire population votes on it; the majority wins and rules. A republic differs in that the general population elects representatives who then pass laws to govern the nation.

my preference is a paddle holster. Found a leather holster with adjustable slant at Holsterama.com. The brand is "The master's Holster"
Priced at less than $65 with shipping quality is good and is comfortable to wear. Rides a bit higher on my belt, and is covered well by
my outer shirt. Stock # for the holster is 4640 also same as the XD-4"
check out the site, they have all kinds of holsters.
Has anyone out there found a Safariland ALS CONCEALMENT holster that will fit the FNP9? They do not make one specifically for the FNP9 and Im hoping someone might have found another gun's model that will work.
In case anyone is still looking for the Shooters Combo Pack for the FNP 45 I just purchased mine from Blade Tech for $49.99. I was unaware that you could order the FNP with the shooters pack and didn't even know such a thing existed till after I purchased mine. Looking at the picture of the holster on a website I saw that it was made by Blade Tech so I went to their website. I found the shooters pack but it was not listed as being made for the 45. When I called Blade Tech on the phone they told me they did make it for the FNP 45 and it would be 4 weeks out for me. I received the product in just 1 week and am extremely pleased with it. Good job to all the folks at Blade Tech! I love the way the holster functions. Very comfortable with great retention and a smooth draw. I highly recommend.
I didn't elect my "representatives" to bring home pork earned by the sweat of someone Else's brow. Nor did I elect them to try and solve everyone's problems and tend their every need. I elected my "representatives" to go to Washington and try their damnedest to protect me from an onerous, all reaching, power grabbing freedom robbing Federal Government. They have failed me miserably!
Seems like I have been looking forever for the right holster for my FNP 9( (which I love). I finally found it! It's the TAGUA Gunleather model BH2-310. It is a belt holster which they state fits Walther PPS, Taurus 709, and Glock .40 and 9mm. They shoul add the FNP 9. It is a great snug fit and the FNP 9 really feels secure in there. Try it, you might like it.

Okay, my head is spinning because I've been reading so much about holsters for my FNP-9 but I've boiled it down to a few that I can justify/afford.
I'm leaning towards leather just because it seems that they would be more comfortable based on past experience but there are also good arguments for the "plastic" holsters as well. I'm not a LEO so won't be wearing all the time but will carry it at work, in the car and at the range if they let me. I'm about average build and would prefer something that is close to my body.
I've read some complaints about the Fobus so I'll probably cross that one off, even though they're cheaper.
I've found the Blackhawk BH-410508BK-R CF Serpa Holst. W/Bl & Paddle Carbon Fibre for about $35 and I know a lot of folks like it but I'm not sure I need the retention button.
For leather, I like the way the DeSantis Speed Scabbard Belt Holster looks and have seen a lot of good reviews for it and can get it for around $50 or so and I saw one on ebay that looks a lot like the DeSantis for about $46 (I think someone else had posted a pic of it in this thread sold byrich_n_christine) and they were happy with it. I was looking at the Safariland Holster for about $46 but it doesn't cover the gun as much.
Any thought on which would be better for me. Thanks
