It only got 200 rounds run through it yesterday so it's not even broken in yet. The good news is zero malfunctions so far with both FMJ and JHP ammo.Originally Posted by TEFL0N_D0N_81
ETA: I've been led to believe that FNP's generally have magazine disconnectors. Is this correct? Mine doesn't. This'll be my last of topic post.
The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun, is a good guy with a gun.
The last part about magazine disconnects: No FNP's or FNX's have them. Only the Browning Pro 9/40 had them (different markings and the mag disconnect is the only difference between the Pro and the FNP)

The biggest thing is that a .45 will never be standard issue. It's a whole NATO thing with interchangeability between NATO countries. Of course nothing says the guys going around with out insignia, names, ect on their uniforms wouldn't be better served by a .45.Originally Posted by Hank618

Here is a video to add to some info about FN pistols in general, but mostly the FNP and the SC factory.

And also an article from 7/29/10

I also don't mean to be that guy, but you have the history of FNP, but
1. you have pictured top: FNX, middle: FNP 45 tactical and the bottom pic is a FNP-40 Standard model.
Also you forgot to mention that they had two different models to chose from also. A USG model that added the manual safety to the FNP series and the standard model (as you have shown in the pics above). The USG was available from 2007 till 2010 (which is when they discontinued the FNP 14 rnd mags). The also limited some other features in the 2011 models. Not 100% sure on the other limited options.
Very informative though. I was not aware that they had a SA only gun and a DA only gun.
