My FNP-45 does very well with PMC, MagTech, CCI Blazer, Winchester Ranger T hollow points but it does not seem to like Winchester White Box ammo. I get feed problems with this ammo. Seems like they get stuck in the magazine. The rounds also seem to leave more residue in the feed ramp than the other brands. I noticed that the Winchester White Box rounds tend to be a bit longer (just by a little but enough to be noticeable) than the other brands of .45 ball.
Anyone else experience issues with this ammo?

That's very common for WWB in 45 ACP and the 45 mags.
Rumor is that FN is now making the mas a bit longer to accommodate slightly longer rounds.
What is the date on the test fired cartridge that came with the gun?

Hi,
The test fire date is 09/25/09.
Thanks,
Rob
Hi,
Can you tell me what the 'mas' is? I'm not familiar with the term.
Thanks for your help on this. It will be great if FN comes out with new mags that can accommodate, but to tell the truth, it seems very hard to find any magazines for the FNP-45 at all.
forgot the 'g' to make mags![]()
The age of your gun means it would've come with the older mags.
Mags are out there. CDNN had a bunch a while ago and A&A arsenal (sponsor here) had 30 some 45 mags last week. PM some of the sponsor (True hunter supply, Oklahoma Police Supply, and A&A and see if they have any and what the prices are).

Thanks very much for your help Dan. I'll check into the mags.
Ordered a couple FNP 45 - 15RD magazines the other day from Tombstone:

The other sources cited have been out for several weeks.
I have also noticed problems with Winchester White Box FMJ on my HK .45 Tactical. I had a round a month ago not allow the slide to go fully into battery. Took it home and checked it in a die, it was to long.
Just ordered a 15 round from A&A. Something like $41 shipped. I have had nothing but problems with all three of my mags that came with my gun. I hope this will cure the problem!
