AFTER I got the FNP-T, RMR, and Osprey, someone brought up to me that the FNP has issues being paired with an Osprey. Apparently there's a timing issue which is easily fixed with "revised" springs in the recoil device of the suppressor. I just wanted to know if any of y'all have heard about this? I just got the FNP for x-mas, and the RMR today. I have yet to shoot the gun yet, but I'm wondering if I should just contact silencerco for the "updated" spring or just shoot the darn thing...
That's my new unfired baby....
You can never have too many guns....
I don't have a FN Tac. I have HK Tac.
I have personally seen my Osprey and another individual's work without a hiccup on the FN Tac though.
Mine is the old style (fairly early serial). The other's was new design with "unmolested" springs. Best I remember, both work, no flaws. In my opinion, Osprey is GTG as is.
Yea, the osprey works fine on my USP tactical, USP CT, and USP SD....

When I took a tour of Silencerco last year, I was told they damaged 5 cans due to problems with non-concentric barrels in the FNP45 tactical. I have not read or heard anything about that issue anywhere else.
I would love to know if anyone else has heard about the non-concentric barrel issue.
I've read of baffle strikes with the Osprey and the FNP-45T, but usually only on the FNP-45T barrels that don't allow the supressor to properly index because of the threads on the barrel.
My Osprey has never failed me ever... I have taken it to Afghanistan and multiple locations over seas. Never had a problem and has always worked flawlessly for me. Never had to replace anything. You got yourself a great surpressor!!! and a great sight! I have the same setup but also have a light/laser combo as well.

I did have to do a short break in period with mine but I think you will be very impressed.
