    Move east young man or north or south....just get the hell outta CA!

    What's very annoying is the original date on this topic....I see what appears to be Trijicon sights on this gun back in July of 2008. If they were there then why has it taken so long to get after market sights for this pistol (standard FNP-45)??!!!

    From what I understand Trijicon is still a few months away (this summer) from producing sights for the FNP-45.(Why?) It is obvious they had functioning/compatible sights for this gun over 2 years ago. I know Ameriglo night sights are available but is this not a bit annoying?

    whats up with that transparant plate? was it a fun-prototype thingy or did it actually has some use?

    That was a prototype. They probably made it clear to see how well it locked up etc.

    I got Mine!

    I bought the 45 Tactical yesterday on Gunbroker. I should have it in hand (after the People's Republic of Maryland paperwork) by the end of next week. I can hardly contain my excitement!
    Never use a pistol in combat unless the caliber begins with .4

    I'm not a hunter. I'm a wildlife population control specialist.

    I will be getting mine as soon as they ship from ID

    I am reviving this thread, just out of happiness.

    I ordered mine tonight, and got my RMR inbound, and a holster from Bladetech.. I am stoked. It is the first handgun I have been exited about since I got my HK USP V1 Custom Combat. Whick will be pushed back to ready reserve when this baby gets some familiarization time.. lol

    I got one in Black, but after seeing good pictures of the FDE, I think my HK Tac will go on the block for another FN Tac in FDE.

    People are mainly getting holster's from Bladetech (letting them know it's for the Tactical or to leave the bottom open for a threaded barrel).

    There's a few others that work as well, but I can't remember them at the moment.
