New FNS 9C on the way!

I bought my wife a 9C back in November, I like it so much I sold my .40 shield and ordered one today! I have an FNS 9 already, but will use this as my new CCW.

3.6 instead of a 4 inch barrel and the grip is shorter on the compact. The FNX 9 is hammer fired and the FNS 9C is a striker pistol. Very similar in grip and handling IMO.

CDNN sent out a mailer today offering the FNS-40c at reduced prices. (I've already got two FNS-40s, so I didn't investigate... but they say the cost "is too low to advertise." Any interested should call them. Sometimes their prices are unbelieveabily low!

I received my new 9C yesterday, I did the standard new gun clean job and I must say was a little disappointed in the workmanship on this gun. Seems to be an excessive amount of scratches on the barrel? I am an FN guy through and through so this caught me as a surprise from them. The company I work for is a sub-contractor for FN and I know they would reject one of my parts for this issue. I will take it to the range this weekend and put some rounds through it. Does anyone have any idea how many rounds they fire through a gun at the factory?

I believe buy law just 1 round.
I would call or email FN customer service with pictures and say what you just posted.
Mine when I got it was even a counter display and it was like a new born.
