Looks great nice work!
As an aside, I shot an email to Dave Sevigny to see if he had any input on the ambi-mag release situation (prototype, solutions, etc.). If he responds, I'll post it here.
Very nice I Like it. And yes this has happened to me a lot. I wish FN would make a right thumb only release
I have yet to have the unintended discharge yet but I would like to fix a problem before it starts.
Bottom line = FN needs to address the issue and quit ignoring it. When I called the customer service reps, in both instances, they were dicks about it and acted as if I was wrong for experiencing the issue, despite my attempt to explain the validity of the situation.
As an aside, 10% of our population is left-handed. That said, I would have expected 1/10th of the dick'ish-ness that I got from the the two reps at FN.
I have plenty of options for a sidearm, trust me... Maybe this is why the sales of the FNS have been lackluster, despite the recent faux claims that volume has driven the price reduction on their black FNS pistols (that's total bull****).
I've obviously put some effort into the FNS platform for a reason...I love the gun. It has proven reliable and ergonomically correct for me.
However, when I was at SHOT, one of their top competitive shooters (not Sevigny) told me to check the serial number on my FNS... I said, "Why?" He said, "...Because the Serial Number begins with "GK" and that stands for "Glock Killer"".
Ok, so, let's get something straight.... You sincerely think you're going to kill Glock while disregarding a faulty design on an ambi-mag release that, in all political correctness, affects 10% of the users? Are you out of your mind? Who is running retail product design, strategy, sales and, in my case, customer service at FN??
