    New FNX Tactical

I had been searching for a new pistol host for my AAC TiRant 45 so ended up finding this one all outfitted with an RM06 and ready to go. Should be a good one.

I finally was able to get out to the range and try this new FNX with its suppressor. I cleaned and lubed the FNX as per the manual and proceeded to shoot the first two magazines worth with the suppressor attached; using factory Speer Lawman TMJ 230gr I got a couple failures to feed. Knowing that I am well within the pistols recommended break in period (plus I had a suppressor on it from the start ) I chalk these FTFs to breaking in issues or suppressor gas issues. I did also encounter a number of failures of slide to lock back. After the first two mags the pistol started to perform beautifully, no more FTFs but still the occasional failure of the slide to lock. I need to start keeping track of which mags are not locking back after the last round. Overall the FNX performed really well for its first break in. It was laser accurate, with some slight blowback felt from the suppressor. The RMR certinaly got a little dirty and cloudy after a box of ammo. Overall a very enjoyable experience.

Congrats on getting out to the range Rodmann. I have found that Speer Lawman is really dirty ammo. It for certain fouls up the RMR after 1 magazine. Enjoy your FNX!
