    Those are all good choices.

I really like the Remington Golden Sabers. I have fired all calibers of Remington and they really retain their weught with great expansion.

I like 124 gr Gold Dots. Find something that feeds good and is a modern round. Are you worried about over-penetration at your particular residence? I ask because the two extreme shock rounds you have are intended to reduce over-penetration.

Plain old ball will work quite well.

Ball ammo is the last choice. All balistic test from the 1940's to the present, show ball ammo has the least stopping power. The FBI started doing balistics on the 38 that most of LEOs of that time carried and found it was grossly unable to stop the criminals, even after unloading the gun the BG's survived. Ball is really only good for target practice

I like using the winchester ranger t stuff because it is relatively inexpensive and you can afford to use it at the range. You should practive with what you carry as much as possible or as much as you can afford.

    In .45, maybe...

    9mm? No way.

Personally, I use Winchester Ranger T-Series 124gr+p in all of my 9mms.

    Winchester Ranger T as well.

A pure democracy operates by direct majority vote of the people. When an issue is to be decided, the entire population votes on it; the majority wins and rules. A republic differs in that the general population elects representatives who then pass laws to govern the nation.

yes i am worried about over penetration, but also the two Extreme Shock ammo fragment into the intended target and will also fragment when they hit a hard surface.

i am also worried about the price i might get the ranger SXT or PDX1 (same thing) the two of them are cheaper than the other two and i can shoot more of them to see how the FNX reacts to them.
