4Thanks
I just saw this as I was taking my fnx-9 apart. Please tell me I don't know anything about pistols and this is the way it was designed. I've only shot 500 rounds through it as part of its break in. Those were Winchester 115 grain full jackets since it didn't like the Remington's. I have shot a mag of Winchester P plus P's through it to get an idea about what kind of hollow points it likes best.
What's the question?
the back piece that holds the spring in place looks like its bent back a little to far to me. I don't remember it looking like that last time I cleaned it and I read that the +P+ rounds are too hot for the weapon. I wasn't looking for it last time I cleaned it though so for all I know its supposed to look like that. I've only shot FN's Machine guns so I'm new to their handguns. Fell in love with the way the FNX felt in my hand and its ambidextrous so that was a big selling point.
Welcome to FNForum.
A pure democracy operates by direct majority vote of the people. When an issue is to be decided, the entire population votes on it; the majority wins and rules. A republic differs in that the general population elects representatives who then pass laws to govern the nation.
thats normal, were the spring sits it's cut at a 90 degree angle. it only looks like its bent back. and they don't suggest +P+ ammo, too high of pressure but they can shoot +P ammo all day.
There is no issue.

Glad to hear it. Thanks for the quick responses.
I verified your pictures against my brand new FNX-9 and you have nothing to worry about. In regards to the +P+ there is no exact spec so you should go by the bullet grain, fps and ft-lbs and compare various mfrs as some will list a round as +P+ and another mfr will have +P and they will have the same specs, it is rare but it happens.
Happy shooting.
