Holster options for FNX Tactical .45 w/RMR

What are you folks using with your RMR-equipped FNX-Tacticals?

This would be for open carry (the pistol is too big to carry concealed, at least in the Las Vegas heat).

I have the FN Shooter's pack.

akitainu, the Shooter Pack is either discontinued or out of stock, but as far as I can determine was never made in left hand configuration. Also, I don't like plastic paddle holsters (there is a video on he 'net where someone twists and snap the holstered gun right off the paddle)

kodiakpb, $100 or less. I'd like it to have a thumb break so I can more safely carry the gun cocked.

For $100 and free shipping and no tax.

No thumb break but very high quality kydex. The owners name is Jake....super good guy. Shoot him an email tell him you want the sweat shield to clear the RMR and I'm sure he will hook you up.

I have one of his full battle rattles for my M&P.

Edit: this is the backside to the full battle rattle for my M&P. looks like there is plenty of clearance for the RMR.

Curious to know why you feel you need a thumb break to carry cocked and locked? ....or are you concerned about someone snatching it out of the holster?

If you want to spend more than $100 there is Griffon Industries.

    kodiakpb,

I want the thumb break so there is something between the cocked hammer and the firing pin (1911 mentality at play). I know that I can carry the FNX with the hammer down but prefer that first round single-action trigger pull.

I'm sure it has been mentioned a few times on other threads but Bladetech makes some pretty nice rigs and they are quite durable. They are currently making my rig to specification with a thumb break but carried decocked in holster.

    Mbogo,
I believe the option is asked if you prefer to carry cocked and locked too. They are pretty accommodating!

I checked Blade-Tech when I found out that they manufactured the Shooter's Packs for FNH. They do not offer the OWB for an RMR-equipped FNX Tactical .45 in left-hand.
