Currently debating b/t this OWB vs. just ordering a new mtac frame for $35.

The Galco is good but I think the DeSantis is better. I had a Galco.

Don Hume also makes a good holster and they even have a model with an extended sweat shield between the body and gun. I've had and used that model too.

Out of all three the one I still have and use is the DeSantis.

I have both the DeSantis and Galco leather holster for the Fiveseven.
I like them both the same.

How's the retention with the Galco?

My LEO buddies all have liked their Galco OWBs but after personally holstering a glock with it, the holster was pretty beat up after about 15 months.

Retention is great on the Galco but you really need to break it in because when you first get it, its a PITA to unholster the gun....
But the same goes with any leather holster.

The holster sits nice and tight to your body.
The leather seems a bit better quailty than the Desantis though.
