    2 questions from a noob....

    Friends,

How do I do the following?

    1. Subscribe to a thread? I'm not new to internet discussion boards, but I can't figure out how to subscribe to a thread I'm interested in.

If it matters, I'm using Firefox.

    2. What's the story on karma? I can't seem to "give" any.

    Thanks for your help!

    Yog

IIRC, under our current software, you can not "Subscribe" to any threads
Unless something has changed, last I knew you could not.

Think of Karma as a reputation point/feedback.
IIRC Noobs can not give away karma and you need to get you post count up to change from a Noob status.

    1. reply to the thread to 'subscribe' (just do a "tag" reply or whatever and you'll get emails to the responses).

    2. I believe you change from noob at 25 posts IIRC.

Yeah, if you are interested in a topic just post some comment in it. You can then go to "show your posts" and quickly see what topics you have posted in... that have new informaton.

I don't like getting the emails, so I made another folder and I put the links I want to keep up with in there (under my bookmarks tab).

Most of the time I just use the difference is color to show me what topics have a new post or you can push the selector of your choice over on the upper right side of the home page.

    Looks like this:

    Hope that helps.
