    Beta CMag

Will a Beta CMag work in a FS 2000? I have not purchased my rifle yet but it would be nice to know before I do. Thanks

Sorry, no the Betta C mags will not work for two reasons. First they are not tall enough as the factory Magwell on the FS200 is much deaper than a typical AR. With that being said, you could always shave down the sidewalls. But I wouldn't recommend doing it. Second is a clearance issue. Being the FS is a bullpup configutation, the Cmag mag gets in the way.

Im looking at one right now, its a standard double AR Cmag, "rounds held on both sides. It looks like you would need to shave about a half to three quarters of an inch from the skirt. Risky. Even with the mag sitting in the magwell ( not Locked), it is totally in the way of my grip.

I think the single sided feed mags are deeper, and may not be in the the way for a right handed shooter. But Another member may have to give you info on those. Ive never owned one and am not sure of whom makes them. Plus they are useless for lefties.

There is a SAW (M249) feed tower for the c-mag that is taller than the M16/AR15 tower, but I can't say if it is tall enough to work in the FS2000.
