    High power green laser?

Has anyone mounted a 25mw or higher green laser on your weapon? I read somewhere on this sight that they could produce a lot of heat? Maybe melting temps for the polymer? I love the contrast of the black FS2k and the daylight visible green laser. I am trying to do as much research on my upgrades, so when i pay my FS2k off and bring it home I will be set.

    Wicked Lasers.

    Check them out.

I've looked at many ideas, and brickwurx has about the most interesting setup I've seen yet.

That light/laser combo would be great with a green laser. (And while the "legal" stuff is just 5mw, you could put a higher rated setup in there if you wanted to do it.)

Just give it time, the price on green lasers will go down, and they will become more commonplace.

Wow, wicked lasers is a great site for high-power lasers. Pricey but real deal quality by the sounds of it. Thanks much for pointing me in that direction. It is getting real close to the FS2000 bring home day, I have done a good job at stocking up on accessories(FN Trirail, UTG vert grip, Magpul mbus and some high cap c-mags) Cant wait to post up pics. One of those high power laser sights will top it off. It seems that they do not offer a weapon setup though(product mounting or remote pressure switch) the lasers are long enough that manually turning it on and off will be easy enough . I'll figure something out.

S o I haven't a green laser on my fs2k but do have a viridian 5xl on a glock 34. Heat is definitely now a problem there and it is highly visibile.

That's what I get for posting from my iPhone. Meant to say the Viridian 5XL on my Glock doesn't generate any heat and the green is very visible at my outdoor range outward of 15 Yards. (especially when using black splatter type targets) Any heat it might generate certainly has had no impact on the polymer there but again I sense nothing from the unit itself to begin with.

There are 5mw green lasers you can buy right now that will clamp to any 1911/Pictatiny/Weaver style rail, or can be mounted in the stock hand front hand grip like a light.

Even some with pressure switch pads etc.

I'm just holding out for a V4 with a light/laser/folding grip combo, or perhaps the 37mm launcher...
