Extending Butpad to Make the 30inchs needed for CA
I would like to remove my ugly Coffie canister thats covering my flash hider on my gun which makes it ca legal..... I need less then a inch too make it 30inches I would like too make the buttbad thicker..Does anyone have any ideas.. If I change the flash hider with a longer one FN will VOID my warrenty.

I recently got one thinking I would just replace the barrel with a longer one, it looks like that isn't an option either.

Engineering a longer pull length butt pad is an interesting idea... but I think the challenge would be that it's easily removable and replaceable with the OEM one... which would violate the minimum length requirement. They want it to NOT be easy to shorten...
There are some longer replacement muzzle brakes that folks have had installed and pinned to address this.
Here's another solution...
