FS 2000 standard - mod

Hey, I'm waiting on my FS 2000 standard to arrive. If you have removed the factory optic and replaced it on standard can you share you modifications here?

Traveling abroad right now so I cant' post a pic but I went surefire with pressure switch in the foregrip mod. + Urban ERT Sling. I seldom use the stock shroud setup instead favoring/mostly using an eotech 557.ar223 and eotech G23 with the FTS mount. I would only warn you that since the optic sits a little lower due to the lower rail you should bear this in mind with any mounting thumb screws for the optic and how close they might sit to the charging handle if they protrude like they do on the 557. It's usable but if you charge with an "overhand-palm facing downward" grip you'll be ramming your thumb into the rail mount bolt-head regularly. Best of luck with your purchase, the fs2k is a "grin-maker" for sure.

The Standard with an IOR QR-TS 3x25 30mm Tactical Compact Scope Illuminated CQB reticle, FNH Tri-Rail with Magpul RVG, Viking Tactics Gen II light mount and Surefire 6P LED Defender. Sling adapter is SKT Industries.
