That would be a C-products 40rd magazine. Honestly I can not speak on the reliability of the mag yet, as far as how big it is and how far it sticks out I love it. I am still in a bit of shock to the whole experience. I have to work all weekend and hope to do a good bit of shooting the following weekend. I have two of the 40rd mags and the folks a gander mt. threw in a gray bushmaster 30 rounder. Other then that it came with nothing. I'm Super pumped to put about 200 rounds through it. I am minutes away from giving the whole thing a serious scrub and lube.

If it's one thing you gotta do here on FNF - It's choose your words wisely. That doesn't read well.

Awesome rig, and please post-up after you get a chance to do some trigger time.

Well I made some time on Sunday to get out and shoot the New FS2k, let me tell you what it was great. I put about 250 rounds threw it, a few things that stuck out about the rifle to me was the low recoil and control shot after shot. I did experience a few jams which I do believe were my fault. The high capacity 40 round mags had room for about 5 extra rounds in them, so I tried running 43 threw them and the rifle would not have it. The bolt closed on a couple rounds about half what up the casing making some dents it the jammed round. I Filled the mags to spec the rest of the day with Federal Brown Box 5.56 and had a hell of a good time. My shooting is not the best but at about 45yds we were doing pretty good(just the back up sights). The short stature of the rifle with that VG does come off as awesome C/Q weapon. That's my take on the FS2000 shoot One. Here's to FN and whole lot of great Firearms

Yeah, jamming more rounds in a mag than it's supposed to have probably screwed things up a bit. Glad you enjoyed it

It's odd to me that there was that much extra room in the magazine. I was under the impression that the mag would take some breaking in to even get the full 40 rounds in, there's an easy 2 1/2 inches of travel at the 40 round mark? As far as jamming them in not at all ~Weird~ Either way good time's and great rifle.

I had a great shoot today with the FS2000. I did not over fill the mag at all and every shot was as smooth as the last. All that other nonsense before was some serious rookie stuff A few good friends and myself ran about 300 rounds of Federal Brown Box through it. Amazing outing today. We also had a few shotguns and a really old SkS. Good fun all the way around. Just thought I would Post up about another satisfied FN consumer.

Oh yeah, no matter how much that FS2k barrel looks like a handle it's not. That puppy gets a little warm.
    Ahhh good times
