Thought I would post a picture a friend took of me shooting my FS2000, NightForce 5.5-22X50 ZeroStop, 16'1" barrel, AAC M4-2000, and Light Mod.
With 68gn. Match it is impressive out to at least 300, furthest I have tried it.

Looks kinda goofy. If you didn't have the suppressor on the scope would be the part sticking out the furthest![]()

Yes, I can take of the sunshade and it is even with the end of the barrel.Originally Posted by Pachinko Pistola

I used a NightForce Unimount for it, no need to lap the rings for the scope with it.
It's fun to shoot varmints out the driver side window, doesn't blow out your ears and doesn't destroy your windshield.Hypothetically of course.

What kind of groups are you getting with it?

My 5.5-22X56 ZS should be coming in two weeks. It was special ordered from NF and they take something like 9 weeks to build. What reticule did you go with? Mine is the NPR-1.
That's going on my Remington 700 though. The scope I want to put on the FS2K is a Bushnell.
Wow, a little over kill on the optics but I gotta admit it looks kinda cool. Curious what your group size is at 300.
Do you fear what you can't control?
I had a 3x12x56 Bushnell Trophy on my FS2k for awhile. It was nearly as large as the rifle!
Mounted with Burris high 30mm Tactical rings, they allowed the optic to clear the rail, and the stock sights. (But you could not see through them.)
I still use the high mounts, but with a Miillett DMS 1x4x30 that has a dot in a doughnut reticle, and is a great optic for this weapon.
Eyes open, at 1x it's nearly as easy to use as an EoTech, but with a simple twist, it's up to 4x magnification for long range shots. I have a best of under 3" groups at 400yards with a box of 20 expensive 68 grain Hornady bullets. Shooting Wolf or other stuff that's cheap, it opens up to 8" or so, but not much more at that range. Close, say 100yards, it's hard to see much difference at 4x. The dot covers the holes for the most part. Same with the long range stuff, you really have to make sure the dot is centered, you can't see the holes in the paper/target.
Standard breathing control, pulse timing, and a good solid bench with a backpack full of a jacket and some other stuff to give it body works well with this rifle. With the bigger optic on there, shooting the 3" groups was not hard at all. With the 1x4, it's more about control and training since you can't see the target for the reticle.
The 3x12x56 is now on my tricked out 1022 on medium height Burris tactical rings, and a slightly extended weaver rail mount for the 1022 action. The reticle in this optic is perfect for a .22LR. It has a small red dot that is on a T post. The dot is very small, perhaps 1moa if that. It is very clear too, no flair, and the settings allow for very low light, or absolutely bright sunlight and everywhere in the middle.
I just put a Vortex Strikefire on my Cx4, and it's perfect for a 9mm carbine. The 4moa dot is bright, you can choose if you want red or green, it has NV/Low light settings, and appears to be as rugged as any optic I have so far. I also think it would be a good CQB optic for the FS2K with the AR height mount. (Same one I'm using on the Cx4.)
