    Trijicon powered scopes

I just put on a Trijicon Accupoint 1-4 power scope on my standard FS2000. It took awhile to zero in, but once zeroed in this this was amazing. I did feel that the scope is sitting a little low so I ordered a Tapco rail riser. Any pointers or suggestions about mounting position etc? I'm shooting at 100 yards. Thanks

Not really. Just mount it where the eye relief is good, and it feels natural. You'll probably have to re-zero, but not by a whole lot.

When you do mount these though, whatever slots you mount them in, I would suggest mounting them as far forward in those slots as you can. Sometimes optics'n'junk will gravitate forward a bit from recoil, if they're not tight, so whenever I mount something, I tighten it a little, push it forward that tiny little bit, then tighten it the rest of the way.

Thanks for the tip. Makes sense about it moving forward with the recoil. I did notice that the scope moved a little from the mount... I was a little worried about how hard to tighten the mount on the scope. Any tips on that? Thanks

Not really... they should be pretty tight, but not nearly tight enough to break anything. That'll hold it just fine

The norm for optic mounting is 24 in.lbs. +3, -1.

Thanks. Would it be best to use one of those wrenches with the lbs gauge on it? I like stuff to be as perfect as possible so I like the little details. As far as mounting the scope onthe riser I got...any tips on mounting that? I tried to line it up with the same rail position I had before so I won't have to do much rezeroing. Any hints on picatinny mounting appreciated. I'll post a pic of it when I put on the front rail. I'm thinking of using the Troy fore end grip that can be either 3 1/2" or 5.... any suggestions here either? Thanks guys!
