    coolhand:

I sent your a pm with some info on mags. I am still new here myself and I am unsure of the rules concerning posting links to other dealers (non FNF supporting dealers).

USGI standard (metal) mags should work fine in your FS2000.

Sounds like you either got a Magpul PMag or a Lancer mag.

Polymer is a no go with the FS2000. Period.

Check out C-Products magazines, they are great. A google search will locate them. Also, no 20 round mags, they are too short. Only 30 or 40 rounders

Oh and as far as the FS2000 is concerned, it will shoot either 5.56 OR .223. There are differences between the cartdriges, but nothing that will matter in your case. I shoot mostly .223 for practice, and save the 5.56 for serious work

    I disagree ... C-Products Straight Body 20rd w/ Magpul L-Plate works just fine.

Well yeah, they will work, but since the guy seems to be pretty unfamiliar with the gun and mags in general, I figured I'd keep things simple and tell him to avoid 20rd mags. Ive seen guys who put Ranger plates on 20rd mags to use them with the FS, but for the sake of simplicity, the FS2000 isnt really made for them.
