Not a bullpup guy, but the FS2000 has me interested in them.

    Hello guys.

I discovered FN a few years ago. It took me about 1 year to research away and early last year I acquired a SCAR 16S FDE and really like shooting it. Then I acquired a 17S FDE a few months ago and really love the gun.

I just started to look at the FS2000 tactical in OD. I really like the design and compatibility with 5.56 USGI mags.

It will take me a while to save up for it (a buck here, a ten there) but I already know I'm positioning myself for one since I sent judochop a PM.

There are some military overruns available right now at substantial savings. They won't last long though. Normally they sell for around $2K but you can get one for just over $1400 right now. There are no differences between the military overruns and the 'normal sale' FS2Ks. Comes in either a OD GRN or BLACK version.

It looks like the they're all gone as of this morning. Distributors are out of stock. Not sure but maybe CDNN has some left...

When I checked GrabAGun.com this morning they still showed in stock. That is where I got mine and they don't charge the 3% CC fee. They show some in stock (OD GREEN) and they ship for $5.99. But you are right, I bet they will be gone by the end of the day.

Glad I ordered mine when I did.

Thats ok I would feel rushed right now acquiring one. I tend to set aside the ca$h and research before I dive in. I might acquire low priced must-have upgrades as sort of motivation to keep going once I've decided I like something. Back in the day I had the rifle bag before I even bought my first AR. Its just a long standing habit with me to keep away from the evil plastic!

I appreciate you letting me know about the overrun, but I don't feel like I'm missing out. It will probably be late this year before I'm actually in the market to bring one home but I will be on this forum learning about this particular bullpup.

I'd like to have a FS2000 Tactical OD one day between these two FNS:

I would not mind having a couple of those myself.

You are missing out, on a great price on the top dog in the bull-pup line of weapons being offered today.

Once you get one, you'll be completely satisfied. Then you'll toss an MRDS and/or a telescopic sight on it, just like the rest of us. Tri-rail, VFG or AFG, a good sling and mounting system, and a boatload of ammo to feed it.

In anticipation of your purchase, I would like to take this moment to say, Welcome to the FS2K weapon platform.

OD green $1499 at Tanners with a 60day layaway option.

Thats 50 more than I paid a couple weeks ago, but probably less than they will be this Summer.
