Which magazines work best

There seems to be a lot of new owners and I would like to ask which magazine set up is people running in their fs2000? I would like to know mag brand, follower, and any add-ons they prefer. I did not find a thread similar to this so I thought I would ask.

Metal STANAG mags, with magpul followers.

Best way to go.

+1. I bought six teflon-coated black ones with the Magpul followers from Bravo Company and they've working flawlessly.

Any non-STANAG mags are going to have issues, or require modification, or require gun modification one way or another due to the magwell gasket on the FS2K.

Brownells mags here. They work in the semi and full automatic weapons without a hitch.

I am using used military 30 rd. aluminum mags I bought years ago for my car15 the only problems I have had was using them in my Bushmaster M17S Bullpup Rifle so I had to install anti-tip followers then had no more problems. I have a 40 rd. after market steel mag and have used it in the fs2000 several times with no trouble.

I use the HK 5.56 30 round magazines. Several years ago I was able to get a good price on them, but after a quick search it seems the cheapest I could find was $49.95. I do love them and have not had any problems with them. Personal preference for me but I like metal rifle mags.

I run black teflon DGS Arms w/Magpul followers thru my 2000. Never had a hiccup. I run the stock FN mag as well (I did drop a magpul follower into it). All of my AR mags run thru my FS2000.

I just bought a few ASC magazines. I haven't had a chance to test them yet but on the surface they seem to be better than the factory magazine because the follower doesn't get jammed. I will probably do as others have and pop a magpul follower in the factory magazine.

If I have the story correct ASC is a company that emerged from a split C-Products. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
