So first thing is, like many other people I broke the switch after the first cleaning. So what exactly does this part do since the action still worked and I was able to put 300 rounds through the rifle?
I was shooting Silver Bear 62gr HP and had to adjust the pressure to the "Adverse Conditions" setting in order to get it to cycle using the factory mag. It was about 25 deg F, so I don't know if this was the ammo, cold weather, broken switch, or just a new rifle. Thoughts?
Lastly, I tried to use Cammenga easy mags, but the rifle would not eject casings using these mags and would feed the next round into the empty casing. Has anyone else been able to use these in their FS2000?
TIA,
Sean
Nope, I don't run anything but the FN and Brownells magazines (no issues with either) so I can't help there.
The Russian ammunition is the culprit on the failures. Feed it good ammunition and it will treat you accordingly.
The switch lifts the empty cartridge case and presents it (positions it) for the release unit to push the empty case into the ejection chute (interior of the rail assembly).
Get a new switch. They aren't that expensive. In fact, get a couple.

Any pictures of the switch being referred to as broken? My rifle jammed with the first few brand ammunitions I tried in it. Found it has zero issues with some bulk green tip ammo I picked up. So just always been using that.

A pure democracy operates by direct majority vote of the people. When an issue is to be decided, the entire population votes on it; the majority wins and rules. A republic differs in that the general population elects representatives who then pass laws to govern the nation.
The switch is the white piece right under the observation cover.
In this photo, it's the BLACKish part at the top left of the carrier.
(it's dirty in this photo)

Do you happen to know where you can get a handful of them since they seem to break real easy?
Thanks. Where do they break r what does a broken one look like?
