Gas valve thumb EEEOOOWWW

Long time AR shooter, new FS2K owner. Rookie move. Gripped a little too far forward, and wrapped my thumb up onto the gas valve. Trigger press, bang, yikes!!!, WTF was that. Thumb completely black, felt like it got smacked with a hammer. Pin hole cut, carbon injected. Damn. Don't try this at home kids. Lesson learned.

haha, thats about how big my thumb was afterwards sarge! Yea, thinking about that option. BTW, the gun ran like a clock. I ran 200 rounds through it without a hiccup. Fun rifle, lots of range questions from fellow shooters. I shot it with an acog ta01nsn and irons, but it's going to get an exps3-0 here soon. Love it. Just keep your damn fingers on the forearm. I used californicated c products 10/30 stainless mags with magpul followers.

I like putting my finger on the piston block when I fire it, ZZZZZZZING! Man that some good vibrations. Found out the first time on accident.
