Welp, I finally fell victim to the 'military overrun' batch. I probably wouldn't have done it, but Tanners offered the $250 layaway option, meaning I can pay that then wait until my tax return shows up in order to drop the rest. That put the nail in the coffin.
The FS2000 is my favorite rifle out there, and the one I have is admittedly something of a Frankenstein at this point. There is just something about owning a factory new one that appeals greatly to me.
Looks like I will probably be selling one of my ARs to make room for it!
Nice. I just did the same thing: sold an AR of which I have duplicates. I got my FS2000 for $1660 out the door--not great, but I wanted it NOW. It ought to go nice with my FNP-9 and SLP 18" (still waiting to take delivery on the SLP even though it's paid for...aaargh!).
A pure democracy operates by direct majority vote of the people. When an issue is to be decided, the entire population votes on it; the majority wins and rules. A republic differs in that the general population elects representatives who then pass laws to govern the nation.
I just did the same thing. I had a standard and couldn't resist picking up a tactical. I have, of course, now traded my standard. I was hesitant though. I loved having two, but realized I wouldn't really shoot both.
I got the OD - I guess it will go with my new PS90 stock quite well! The old one is currently being returned to black as we speak.
Hah... I figure the FNH OD is actually so close to FDE anyway that I might as well return this one to 'stealth mode.'![]()
