    FS2000 spare parts?

Hey guys, just grabbed an fs2000 last week and had a quick question. Are there any spare parts that you guys recommend keeping around? I always had a spare bcg handy for my ar among some other parts just in case I ran into any problems. I'm looking into building a little cleaning/spare parts kit to store in the butt stock. Any suggestions?

On another note I'll have tons of parts trickling in over this week (aimpoint micro t1, tri rail, light/mount, sling) So hopefully I'll have some good pics to throw up on the forum soon...

    Thanks in advance

There are a bunch on this forum far more expert in this than I am, but I can tell you off of the bat that two commonly suggested spare parts are the switch (the white plastic thing cradling the moving parts group) and the charging handle front latch (which is why up until now there was an aftermarkey alternative from Judochop - sadly they sold out). Both are cheap.

If you can, order up an extra stock handguard or two. They are cheap and you can do some cool stuff with them. A lot f guys install a surefire inside of it, and I installed a QD sling loop.

    FS2000 Parts List

Just ordered some springs and a switch from FN. They were great on the phone, very helpful, and their prices shown on this list included shipping

The metal charging handle is a great product. It's well designed and easy to install. Hopefully they become available again.

I suggest some extra springs as well. My bolt alignment bar spring seems to be AWOL. For the life of me I cannot figure out how it come off.

Switch is really the only spare part you will need.
I have two switches and 1 spare gas piston with rings in my stock.

would you happen to have a part number on the gas piston and rings? Also what do you store the parts in? I'm gonna try to find some sort of pouch that fits in the stock today
