    New FS2000 Owner

Proud new owner of a Black tactical FS2000 as of yesterday after somewhat of an impulse buy. I have always loved them and appreciated the engineering but have never really thought about buying a $2000+ rifle. Anyways last Sunday I was killing time on forums and found out about the military overruns. Need less to say, the next day I ordered one, since I think it will be a long time before I could buy a brand new one for about $1,500 OTD. Now I have the need for an an optic, since the irons kind of suck. Although I could afford an aimpoint or EOTech at the moment, I'd really rather take my time to settle on a permanent optic.

Anyways, I have a couple of questions. I've been looking at primary arms' website and their red dots. I have seen numerous positive reviews on ar15.com of their red dots and think that will be a great interim optic for my FS2000 as well as an excellent choice for my S&W M&P 15-22 once I get a permanent optic for my FS2000. The question I have is what mount should I get for their microdot? Is an AR-15 height mount a good fit on the FS2000? Or should I get one of the lower rise mounts?

Also has anyone had experience with their magazines? You can view them here: https://www.primaryarms.com/Black_Te...b.htm?CartID=1 . From what I have seen browsing this forum it appears the best choices have magpul followers as well as teflon coating which this mag has but I would like someone to offer input from this community.

There it is, pic was taken yesterday. You might notice some Styrofoam near the butt plate. That's how excited I was when I sent pics to my buddies. Didn't even completely clean the damn thing

These things are springin' up all over the place lately!

Awesome that more people are taking an interest in the 2K platform.

    BD1911,

Member 'artranscience' runs a PA dot on a PS90. PM him and get the skinny on it.

    Ooops, I re-read your question...

The AR height will be fine for the 2K. You don't need the lower height mount.

Thanks Sgt. I've ordered the sight!

Edit: I'll post pics as soon as I get it
